For Mindbend App Users
Delete Your Account In-App
The easiest way to delete your account is directly from the app:
- Open the Mindbend app
- Go to Settings → Data Controls
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm your request
Your account will be permanently deleted within 14 days of your request.
Delete Your Account via Email
If you’re unable to access the app, you can request account deletion by email:
Send an email to: support@mindbend.app
Email subject: Delete My Account
Please include:
- The email address associated with your Mindbend account
- Confirmation that you want to permanently delete your account and all associated data
Response time: We will confirm your deletion request within 2 business days.
What Will Be Deleted
When you delete your account, the following information will be permanently removed:
✓ Account Information: Name, email, age, gender
✓ Wellness Data: Emotional check-ins, mood tracking, journal entries, gratitude logs
✓ Practice Data: Meditation sessions, AI conversations, custom requests, practice history
✓ Voice Recordings: Any stored voice data
✓ Usage Data: App activity, preferences, settings
Note: Anonymized, aggregated data (which cannot identify you) may be retained for research and product improvement.
Deletion Timeline
Within 14 days: All personal and identifiable information will be permanently deleted from our active systems.
Within 30 days: Data will be purged from backup systems.
Subscriptions: If you have an active subscription through Apple or Google, you must cancel it separately through your Apple/Google account. Deleting your Mindbend account does not automatically cancel subscriptions.
Cancel Your Deletion Request
If you change your mind within the 14-day period:
- In-app: Go to Settings → Account → Cancel Deletion Request
- By email: Reply to our confirmation email or send a new email to support@mindbend.app
